Please read carefully so that you are fully aware of your rights when booking your makeup service. Making a booking signifies that you agree to the Terms and Conditions below.
Hair Trials
Hair trials are highly recommended for bridal hairstyling but are not compulsory. They are invaluable for gathering information about your hair and ideas to create the perfect, flawless look for your special day. It’s a great time for us to meet and go through all the details for the day. It also allows me to understand what your hair type can or cannot do and set realistic expectations about the final output.
Bridal Booking Fee
All bridal bookings require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your wedding date. This amount comes off your final invoice; the remaining 50% is due 7 days prior to your wedding date.
Because we only ever take on one wedding per morning — reserving the entire morning and your stylist exclusively for you — our most popular dates are often requested by several brides at the same time. For this reason, a date is only held once the deposit has been received, and the deposit is the fairest way we can determine who secures a contested date: whoever confirms first.
The deposit must be paid within 3 business days of the invoice issue date. We are unable to hold or extend a date beyond this window, as doing so would mean turning other brides away for a morning that isn’t yet confirmed. If the deposit is not received by the due date, your date is automatically released back into our calendar and made available to other bookings. You are always welcome to re-enquire closer to the time — if your date is still available, we’ll gladly provide a fresh quote.
Once the booking fee is paid, your date is secured, confirming your agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
Cancellation
All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date issued and are subject to change after this period, without further notice.
In the highly unlikely event that I am unable to attend the event due to a personal emergency, injury, sickness, or other circumstances beyond my control, I will endeavour to find a replacement of a similar standard. In such cases, a full deposit will be refunded to the client. However, if the client cancels, the deposit will be forfeited.
Change of Service
Once the booking is confirmed with a deposit, the number of people booked for service cannot be cancelled. Any cancellations will be subject to full payment.
Adding a Service
If timing allows, additional person/s will be able to be added to the booking. Please kindly notify me as soon as possible if you wish to add extra person/s after the initial booking.
Time Schedule
The timing for the appointment day (start and finish time) should be confirmed within 14 days of initial deposit. Any changes in time schedule after 14 days of confirmation cannot be guaranteed. I sometimes have two brides per day so timing changes may be limited so please let me know as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment.
Accommodation
For travel bookings that require a start time before 7am, accommodation may be required (depends based on travel distance) for the night prior and will be provided at the expense of the client.
Travel Fee
All mobile hair bookings will include a travel fee. Travel fee will differ based on the location.
Parking Fee
Applied to all CBD areas and CBD surrounding areas. If location is in a hotel, valet parking will be required.
Privacy Policy
At Lia Hanson Hair, we respect your privacy. Information you provide through our website or Meta lead forms — such as your name, email address, or phone number — is used to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes, and confirm bookings. We will never sell your personal information. To understand how well our advertising performs, we may share a securely hashed (irreversibly encrypted) version of your contact details with our advertising and measurement partners, such as Meta, solely to measure and attribute the results of our ads — never for those partners to market to you, and never in a form that reveals your actual details.
