Nothing gets broken
Keratin and Brazilian systems use formaldehyde to force hair straight. Nanoplasty uses different chemistry entirely — the bonds that give your hair its shape are left alone.
Three to eight months
Longevity is personal to your hair. Colour maintenance, wash frequency and your at-home routine all play a part. The result, however, is immediate — smoother, frizz-free hair from the moment the heat-sealing process is complete.
Safe on colour

If your hair is more tired than unruly, this is the one we’d point you to. It doesn’t fight your texture — it feeds it.
What’s in it
Organic acids, amino acids, oils and hydrolysed proteins — a deep-conditioning repair rather than a smoothing chemistry. Formaldehyde-free, like everything we use.
What it does
Softness and shine back into dull, damaged or over-processed hair. Frizz settles — but your texture stays exactly where it is.
When we suggest it
For hair that needs restoration more than smoothing — and as an in-between treatment, typically 3–6 months after Nanoplasty, to prolong the finish and keep hair beautifully conditioned.
In short: nanoplasty smooths, Hair Botox repairs. On the free call we’ll tell you which one your hair is actually asking for — and occasionally that it’s neither.

Priced to your hair — mainly length and thickness. Your exact price is set on the 10-minute fit check. 2.5–4 hours in the chair; aftercare guide included. Most of the range comes down to how often you wash it and what you use: at the shorter end that is about $2.50 a day, at the longer end closer to $1.50.

Before you book
The honest bitHow is nanoplasty different from Brazilian or keratin?
Brazilian and most keratin treatments use formaldehyde, or agents that release it, to lock smoothness in. Nanoplasty doesn’t. It bonds inside the hair shaft rather than melting the bonds that hold your shape — so your curls stay curly, just far less frizzy.
Will my hair end up completely straight?
Only if you want it to be. Every treatment is customised: keep your natural movement, or take it to a smoother, straighter finish. Bring a photo of the look you’re after — it settles the conversation in about ten seconds.
Will it damage my hair?
No. It works alongside your hair’s structure rather than against it. At the fit check we look at the condition your hair is actually in — and if it isn’t right for the treatment, we say so.
What if nanoplasty isn’t right for my hair?
You’ll know before you’re in the chair for it. The fit check takes ten minutes and exists for exactly this — we look at your hair and tell you honestly. If it isn’t ready, we say so and tell you what would help first. We’d rather turn the treatment down than do it on hair that can’t take it.
Is it safe on coloured or bleached hair?
Yes, and it’s one of the main reasons we chose nanoplasty over the older smoothing systems. Where there’s any doubt we’ll suggest a different path rather than risk it.

What to expectHow long does the appointment take?
Between two and a half and four hours, depending on your length and density. You’ll have an exact estimate before you book, not a surprise at the chair.
How should I prepare my hair?
Wash the night before with two shampoos — three if your hair runs oily — and no conditioner. Skip everything else: no serums, oils or hairspray. Clean hair lets the treatment in.

Making it lastWhen can I wash it?
Right away — there’s no need to wait. For longer-lasting results, we recommend a sulphate-free shampoo paired with a frizz-control formula to help maintain the smoothness between treatments.
How long does it last?
Typically three to eight months, depending on hair type, condition, how often you wash and how you care for it. Curlier, coarser hair often gains a few weeks from a Hair Botox session four to six weeks in.
Can I have it done before my wedding?
Yes, and many do. Three months out is the sweet spot: the treatment fully settles, and there’s still room for a styling trial before the day.
What if it isn’t right for my hair?
Then we tell you, and we don’t run it. The assessment at consultation is genuine — the goal is hair you love, not a booking on the sheet.

Will it damage my hair? Is it safe?
It’s a gentler smoothing treatment — no harsh chemical force. Amino acids and conditioners smooth and strengthen, so it’s safe for coloured and bleached hair. Health first, always.
How’s it different from keratin or Brazilian?
Those treatments often use harsher chemicals to force hair straight. Nanoplasty smooths and nourishes more gently, keeps your natural movement, and uses no formaldehyde.
Will my hair be completely straight?
